YourSingaporeMap lists details of current and historic company and director records sourced from official company registries within Singapore.

When a company is incorporated, it has a legal obligation under the respective country's company law to make certain business details available for public inspection. This includes registration details, financial accounts and director information. The level of detail available will depend on the relative country's filing obligations.

YourSingaporeMap uses this public data to generate the records published on https://yoursingaporemap.com. The information contained within these records is available not only from company registries directly but also via various data services and business directories, both on-line and off-line.

While we understand some companies and individuals have reservations about being listed, we carry no information that is not available elsewhere in the public domain and therefore cannot remove or amend data on YourSingaporeMap unless the information displayed is different to that held on the public record. If this is the case, we ask that any discrepancies are reported in order to be investigated by the relevant data team immediately.

The only way to prevent disclosure of company and director information or amend the details held, is to do so at the source. Details of the relevant company registries in each country are provided upon registration of a limited company. Check your incorporation documents if you are unsure. Once altered or removed from the registry, any changes will filter through to YourSingaporeMap and update automatically within 2 to 14 working days depending on the country.

It should be noted that the Data Protection Act does not apply to company data and no authorisations or permissions are required to publish this content.
