Built in 1925, Sri Layan Sithi Vinayagar Temple is part of the annual ThaiPusam festival. It is the Holy Spear (Holy Vel) in this temple that is taken in a Silver Chariot procession to Tank Road Sri Thendayuthapani Temple for the ThaiPusam festival and poured with milk offered by devotees
